One Minute Club is Back!

Read on to learn about all the new things available at Susan Paradis Piano Teaching Resources!

One Minute Club 2025

The One Minute Club is back with it’s 2025 design. I know many of the piano teachers who follow my blog and store anticipate this each year. In fact, this is it’s 16th year since it’s creation. I can’t believe it’s been around for so long!

Every year, my mother, Susan, created a new design for the certificate, chart, and membership card. I took over this task last year. This year’s newly designed set is available now!

One Minute Club – What is it?

Want to help your students improve their note identification skills in a fun, motivating way? The One Minute Club is a beloved piano teaching activity where students “Say and Play” notes from flashcards while racing against the clock. Teachers track each student’s progress as they aim to identify more notes within 60 seconds. Teachers can take charge by making their own rules and achievement levels catering to their students’ individual needs. Students are motivated by earning membership cards and certificates – collecting a new one each year as their skills grow!

Other New Things!

I’ve been throwing myself into the business this year and have been putting out a lot of new things.

Back to Basics

This is the piano teacher’s essential teaching aids bundle. I created an useful collection of printables that every piano teacher needs in their daily arsenal. This product was born from the many requests I received from you all. It is designed in black and white with minimal extra designs because these are things you are likely to print over and over again.

This bundle is HUGE. It’s 21 pages and full of useful things such as staff paper, flashcards, practice charts, etc. If you are a teacher who is just now getting into printables, a brand new teacher just starting their studio, or a teacher who just dislikes printing out extra designs and colors because of the cost of ink, this is FOR YOU!

Valentine Mini Banner – A FREEBIE!

In addition to teacher aids and activities, I personally REALLY enjoy creating paper crafts that can be used as decorations. Now that I have my new studio, I needed something to bring in a cheerful/seasonal touch. I created a printable mini paper banner that says “Happy Valentine’s Day” that can be strung up and put anywhere. Mine is right behind my computer monitors. My favorite part is that the polka dot background is actually little notes. It’s “mini” because each triangle is about 3″ x 3″, but because it’s such a long phrase, the banner is actually pretty long (approximately 54″). This is a printable, and I recommend printing it on cardstock so the paper doesn’t curl.

I decided that if I’m going to make this for myself anyway, I might as well make it available to you as a freebie! (Freebie for now! I’m planning to put it on sale after the valentine season.)

If you hang this up in your office, studio, classroom or house, please send me pictures! I LOVE seeing this type of thing in action. You can DM me on Instagram or send it straight to Li*@Su**********.com.

Betty Sue Sticker Club

The Betty Sue Sticker Club is my most EXCITING new thing to come to the site. As you know, I am an artist who dedicates my craft to the creation of piano teaching resources. I have so many designs in my head all the time that are just dying to come out. I feel like my art style perfectly lends itself to sticker designs. I also happen to know that piano teachers use a LOT OF STICKERS! So I launched the Betty Sue Sticker Club specifically for music educators to use with their students (but you are free to just collect them for yourself!)

The Betty Sue Sticker club is a monthly subscription that sends hand crafted stickers illustrated by me straight to your mailbox. Each month will be brand new designs– always musically and/or seasonally themed. Learn more about it on this blog post.
