Christmas Music Symbols

Christmas Music Symbols Matching

If it’s not too late in the season, here is a worksheet I call Christmas Musical Symbols. It was made for first year students to draw lines to match up vocabulary words and symbols. Sometimes students arrive at group lessons early and it’s a good idea to have something to keep them busy! Or maybe you would like to do something different at the last lesson of the year.

When I drew this red and green border, I intended on making many levels of vocabulary words for all my students.  But I think I got carried away drawing the border and ran out of time!  I was interested in making something seasonal, but suitable for all ages.

Susan, thank you so much for all the incredible teaching resources you create and share here. I don’t know how you have time to create all these worksheets and still teach! 🙂 I’m wondering if you’d be willing to share the tools you use? (what software? Clipart sites?) I’d love to start making some custom worksheets and games too!

    Dear Susan,

You never cease to amaze me with the creative and helpful ideas you share with all of us. Your latest worksheet is a simple idea but yet a work of art! Thank you for helping us be better teachers. Merry Christmas.

I love your site! Thank you for all the time you spend on these wonderful worksheets, games, and pieces to play. I was wondering… could you post the ornament bingo without color so I can have it be a “color by note” for my beginners? It would be fun for them to “color all the B’s green” etc. I tried to edit it myself but it didn’t work.
