It’s not too late to pass out some Halloween or Autumn music or add some fall games or worksheets. This free music is great for sight-reading or as a supplement to their regular books. And it is also available in pre-reading versions. I have students who keep these in their binder years after they outgrow them because they like the colorful art. I think young, beginning piano students need some things that are easy and not too challenging, just to help make learning piano more fun.
To download the free Autumn and Halloween music, both pre-reading and on-the-staff, use the link above.
Below are some of the fall games, theory handouts, and activities my students like. Composing activities are good for days students haven’t practiced or maybe left their music at home. The Kandy Keys staff is something fun for older students who are learn key signatures for their theory exams. Students place candy corn on the staff to construct key signatures.
These are all free downloads that I hope your students enjoy! Please let me know right away if you find any broken links or mistakes. Thanks!
