Hey, Mr. Mummy
I don’t know how these little ditties come in my head, but my students like them and I hope some of yours will, too. If so, let me know. All I have to go by are your emails and comments, and I really appreciate those! Some of you have sent pictures, and that is so much fun for me!
I added a real simple teacher duet to this piece, so you will not have to improvise one.
Last year a student performed this, and we made it longer by repeating some of it. If you are having a Halloween recital, you might want to try that with this one or some of the pieces I posted earlier. You can find Mr. Mummy in the music store.
Hi Susan! I am new to your posts and am SO glad I found you! Thanks so much for helping us with your fun and inventive pieces that are sure to please even the most difficult student! I am always looking for something that will inspire them to want to learn and you definitely make that job much easier! Thanks for sharing, it is MUCH appreciated!
Hi Susan,
As always, thank you so much! This looks like a fun one and I have just the student in mind for it. We do Halloween Piano Camps, so I use your music every year! In fact, several of your pieces have found their way into every recital I’ve had. I had one student start taking piano from me just so he could learn Dragon’ Lair. I really think you should publish that one. It’s a favorite with the boys in my neighborhood!
Wow, I’m on top of the world with your comments! Thanks so much! I would also love to hear more about your Halloween piano camps!
