Easy Rhythm Bingo

Description

🎹 🥁 Easy Rhythm Bingo is a short bingo-type game for beginning students who will listen to one-measure rhythm patterns and identify the correct notation. This is a great way for beginners to experience rhythm dictation and help with rhythm skills and rhythmic sight reading. It can be played in a group or with the teacher at a private lesson. The rhythms are easy and include only quarter, half, whole, dotted quarter, and beamed 8th notes. There are no dotted quarter notes or single eighth notes, so if they know “ta ta ti-ti ta” or count “1 2 3& 4″they can play this game. If they can’t play 8th notes, they can use one of the cards without them.

Cards 1 – 4 have no 8th notes. Cards 5 – 8 include very simple beamed 8th notes. There are no rests or dotted quarter notes. You will need 9 bingo chips for each student, not included. Use pebbles, stones, cut up construction paper, pasta, etc. Instructions are included in your purchase. Please note this is a digital download and does not include a physical item.

• 3 pages of playing cards cut into 30 rhythm examples
• 8 game boards (4 pages cut in half)
• 1 page of game instructions

When you order, your links will be placed in your account for you to download. Once you have saved your file, you may print it yourself or use a print shop of your choice.
