Description

Invasion of the Space Trombones is an early intermediate piece designed to engage students’ imagination and creativity. It features a left hand melody with chromatic notes, right hand chords, and lots of dynamic contrasts. It is also a piece that will help with left hand finger coordination in a fun way. I wrote this for my early intermediate students who appreciate the humorous and whimsical title. It is popular with students who like video games and band kids.  Fingering, dynamics, and articulations are carefully thought out and marked. If you have a student who really shines when it comes to dynamics, they will wow the judges at the next festival. This is a fun piece for both boys and girls and easy to memorize.
