Rhythm Dominoes

Description

Rhythm Dominoes is a simple way to reinforce or even teach rhythmic values in 4/4 meter. Give your students something to do while they wait for lessons! It can also be played with the teacher or another student. This is a matching game where students will match notes to rests or to a number in 4/4 time. There are two levels, so it will work not only for beginners, but students who are learning eighth notes. In level one whoever starts first always wins, so plan accordingly. Instructions for several ways to play are included in your purchase. The instructions also include how to make the domino cards easier to handle and more durable. Please note this is a digital download and does not include a physical item.

There are a total of 3 pages including:
• 2 pages of of dominoes to cut into 30 pieces (15 for each level)
• 1 page of game instructions

Objective

The objective of Rhythm Dominoes is to reinforce rhythmic counting skills in 4/4 meter.

Level

One set of this resource is elementary level and the other set is for late elementary students.

Rhythm Dominoes contains 3 PRINTABLE PDF pages including an instruction page. These are digital files to print on 8.5″ x 11″ paper. When you order, your links will be placed in your account for you to download. Once you have saved your file, you may print it yourself or use a print shop of your choice.
