A fast and fun late elementary solo.

Description

The Great Adventure is a spirited piece in D minor written to appeal to the elementary to late elementary age student. It reinforces moving around the keyboard using easy-to-learn patterned fifths. There are no eighth notes except for an optional spot on the repeat. This piece is good for students who want to sound bold, but do not have the technical skills for a more challenging piece.

Another great piece of yours that is fairly easy for the kids to learn and gives a HUGE payback in sound. Sounds impressive and the kids like playing it. Thank you.

Thank you, Kae. I’m glad you “get it.” At a certain age, they want to sound impressive, to the best of their technical abilities. I try all my music out with my own students and adjust it a lot!
