I’m excited to announce the 2022 Piano Camp for Piano Teachers VIRTUAL Conference is now OPEN. Though the discounted early-bird registration is over, regular Conference registration continues now through Sept. 7 at midnight central. Remember: You receive LIFETIME access to the replays, plus group coaching sessions each year! Divided payment plans are also available!
The Conference theme, selected by piano teachers, is “Sorting Out the Classics: What to Teach and When.” If you’ve ever wanted to know how to plan a classical repertoire trajectory for your students, then this is for YOU! Whether you’re new to teaching classical piano music or quite experienced, these sessions will set you up with know-how for teaching the mid-elementary to early advanced levels – what to teach and when.
Many of you know how much I love classical music. Of course I love all kinds of music, but even as a very young student I fell in love with the little minuets and sonatinas my teachers assigned to me. In fact, I don’t believe I would have ever majored in music if it had not been the draw of the classics.
This year there is a very impressive and outstanding lineup of world-class guest presenters — Jane Magrath, Peter Mack, George Litterst, Ratko Delorko, and Elizabeth Gutierrez.
View the details and enroll HERE. Conference registration continues now through Sept. 7.
What’s in store for you?
Five expert clinicians will discuss the progressive order of teaching the repertoire, Baroque through Modern eras. They will explain the approach to the teaching of interpretation, style, and expression including the proper execution of ornaments! Peter Mack will delve deep into the intricacies of teaching Mozart with tips and advice on teaching Mozart’s most popular teaching pieces. They will also have door prizes and coupon codes from publishers. Here’s a great post-conference bonus: Annual coaching sessions on classical music!
👉🏼 Dates: July 28-31, 2022 with a Pre-Conference session by Jane Magrath on Friday, July 22
Live attendance is not required for any sessions. Watch the replays afterwards from the comfort of your home as often as you like!
Deadline for conference registration ends Sept. 7 at Midnight Central Time
Registration will continue until that date. Monthly payment plans are available. Replays NEVER expire. As a proud sponsor and affiliate of this event I know it will enrich your teaching. We can’t wait to see you there!
