Valentine Rhythm Fun Sheet

I wanted to make a Valentine crossword that was a little different, so take a look at this one. And it is free until Jan. 13 midnight CST. I’ve been having a lot of fun making crosswords this year and I didn’t want to leave out Valentine’s Day.

This crossword puzzle is for students who are learning to count rhythms. Students add the note values in each row and write the words in the crossword puzzle. I added a word bank for younger students who might not be able to spell the longer numbers. Students will only need to know how to count whole, half, dotted half, and quarter notes. Print this page and give it to students while they wait for their lesson or to take home for fun!  Please note this is a digital download and does not include a physical item.

For more colorful Valentine worksheets, check out these bundles:  Valentine Worksheets,  Beginner Valentine Fun Sheets,  and Gnomes Valentine Fun Sheets.  I’ve also made some easy one page songs in both pre-reading and staff.

There are some fun games in the store, too, that you can use for Valentine parties and group lessons.

To find all the Valentine material, in the category section select Holidays, then Valentine’s Day and you will see all the fun sheets, games, cards, and music!
