Color Coded Rhythm Pattern Cards
Today I am posting a set of rhythm flash cards that are *color coded* so that you can quickly pull out the ones you need. That really helps save time. The flash cards start at primer level and progress up to intermediate. There are two large size flash cards for each page. The levels below are not meant to go along with any specific method book, but are simply the progression I made the cards.
-
- Beginning Set
- 8th notes
- dotted quarters
- 6/8 and triplets
- 16th notes
- dotted eighths
- 5-note tuplet and quarter note triplet
I am looking forward to those 50 ways in a future post. I can think of a few, but they are old & tired like me and I need some of your fresh ideas. Thank so much for these rhythm cards!
Hi Susan, Thank you so much for your work. I love the major/minor chords in root position. (Pictures)
I use one position for beginners learning chords. (Between the 2 Cs)
please see below. ( then only finger positions change.)
C = CEG F = CFA G -= DGB D = DF#A A = C#EA
Em = EGB Am = CEA F#m = C#F#A Bm = DF#B
Would you have picture sheets of the chords in 1st inversion and 2nd inversion please.
i draw my own but they look very untidy.
Yours in music
Kind regards
Pam Venter
Pam, thank you for your thoughtful comment. In regards to the inversions, I don’t have them at the present time, but I hope to add them in the near future.
Can’t wait for my students to use these! Thank you so much for sharing 🙂
These are great! Thank you for sharing, Susan. I know my students and parents will find these very useful.
