Description

🦃🍁👏 Save the Turkey is a quick game for two players designed to give students more practice in several music theory concepts, depending on the level. It is made for teacher/student as a fast and fun activity around the Thanksgiving season. Who will be the first to get the Save the Turkey card and keep the whimsical turkey from becoming Thanksgiving dinner! 😇  There is a set of 16 small cards for levels from beginner to intermediate! This student and teacher favorite has been revised and additional cards added but the comical turkey is still there!

There are so many concepts in the game it is really several games in one. Beginners can use keyboards, intermediates can use key signatures, and there are various notes and symbols at several elementary levels. Teachers can select only the 16 cards they need for a specific level. It is so easy because players simply draw cards and there is no game board. Detailed instructions are included. Please note this is a digital download and does not include a physical item.

There is a total of 9 pages including:

•  1 page of teacher instructions.
•  1 page of keyboards for beginners.
•  4 pages of small cards with symbols, notes, and vocabulary.
•  1 page of key signature cards for intermediate level.
•  2 pages of optional backs.

Save the Turkey is a 9-page set of PRINTABLE PDF files including the instruction page and optional backs to be printed by the purchaser on 8.5 x 11 inches paper. When you print, please note the cards and backs for the keyboard cards are not the same size as the other cards. When you order, your links will be sent to your ACCOUNT for you to download. Please double-check the email you use. Once you have saved your file, you may print it yourself or use a print shop of your choice. To find your account later, select “Account” from the top menu.

This file is for your private use. You have permission to make copies for the students you teach yourself in your private studio. Do not share with anyone outside of your studio. If you are not a teacher, you have permission to use it with your family. Each teacher and/or parent needs to make a separate purchase and not share with teachers in a school or business. The original art is copyrighted and may not be altered or used. There are no refunds on digital products but email me if you have problems and I will work with you.
