This is one of my favorite songs! Every student is so excited to receive this song and they practice a lot more because they love to play it. Almost every student takes the time to memorize this piece and I love the expression they will put into the piece when we discuss the story that the music is portraying. This piece is a wonderful early intermediate adventure–especially my boy students have loved it. One student that I could not get to practice forever played this repeatedly when I found this song and performed it at a spring recital. He took my last copy, so I had to come back for more.
