There are a lot more games and fun sheets in the store just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. To find all the St. Patrick’s Day music education material, select Holidays from the drop down menu, and then go to St. Patrick’s Day.

There are ten cute funsheets (see above) in this humorous  St. Patrick’s Day bundle. Students have really enjoyed these pages and learned some theory, too! To save you some time, answer sheets are included for the pages that take a long time to review. There is also another set called Shamrock Activity Sheets that has more material for elementary and late elementary students.

There are some fun games for group lessons or theory classes.  The Pot of Gold board game has several theory concepts at 5 different levels. The Shamrock Keyboard Race game is played on the piano keys and teaches beginners the names of notes in a fast, fun way.

Shamrock Rhythms gives students a workout with 4/4 and 6/8 time signatures. Finally, a lot of students look forward to parades and it’s not too late to start composing a St. Patrick’s Day parade song. The rhythm and words are already there to make it an easy beginning activity both for prereading and students who are learning notes on the staff. If you’re looking for a jig  for late elementary-intermediate, check out Jalopy Jig.
