Includes an illustrated instruction sheet on how to teach pre-reading music!

Description

Easiest Pre-reading Bundle is the simplest pre-reading bundle that I’ve published. If you find yourself struggling with a very young student or a special needs student who has trouble with skipping notes (thirds), differentiating left and right hand, and learning finger numbers, then you really need to give this set a try! Students LOVE these pieces. This is a great supplement to a first piano book or to use alone before you start one. There is something for every young or struggling beginner:

• no thumbs or 5th fingers
• 1 piece uses only the third finger
• left and right hand color coding with graphics of hands
• keyboard graphic on each page to show where to put hands
• cute lyrics that keep beginning students entertained

More and more parents realize the enormous benefits of early piano lessons. But sometimes no matter how good the method, we have students who need to move slower. These fun, yet educationally sound pieces are thoughtfully laid out on the page to help students succeed. There are no staff lines to confuse students and they don’t need to know how to read notes on the staff. All of the pages have colorful illustrations that are appropriate for both average age and young beginners. Your young or special needs students are going to build their confidence with this music. And since the piano notes are so easy, students can concentrate on keeping a steady beat.

 🎨Nine colorful one-page pre-reading sheets!🖍

Included in the bundle in a separate file is an Instruction Guide to Playing Pre-reading Music. It has visuals and a very easy to understand explanation of how to play these pages for parents who want to help their children. If you are a parent or grandparent, these pieces are a great introduction to the piano.

Below is an audio version of T-Ball, using only three notes in each hand.

This is a studio license, so a single teacher can print copies for their private students!

These are one page pre-reading sheets that have been teacher favorites for years, but they are re-engraved, revised, and more educational elements added such as colored notes in some of the pieces. They are printed in order of difficulty and each one gradually increases the skills students learn. Included are:

✔︎ What the Worm Said to the Robin
✔︎ What the Robin Said to the Worm
✔︎ Snail, Snail
✔︎ Wiggly Worm
✔︎ Hot Cross Buns Right Hand
✔︎ Hot Cross Buns Left Hand
✔︎ Don’t Fall In
✔︎ Lizzy’s Cat
✔︎ T-Ball

I love Susan’s pre reading resources! Great for starting off any young beginner and ideal for that “getting to know you” stage where you don’t want to commit to just one method book.
