Funsheet for Beginners -Throwback Thursday

There are a lot of teachers starting piano lessons this week. That makes it a good time to post fun sheet for beginners, Cherry Popsicles, for Throwback Thursday. Plus, who doesn’t like cherries! It is the first page of the Summer Treats series, set one.  It’s also iPad friendly if you open it in an app made for PDF files such as Notability. You can find this set in the store.

This is for beginning piano students to learn or review some of the basics of piano. Included are finger numbers, left and right hand, and the music alphabet. It makes a good review if you have already taught this in the lesson. Method books present these concepts right away, but I don’t use a method book until I know a little more about the students’ learning style.

WordPress, which hosts this blog, has a way for you to receive email notifications of a new blog post. I am not really involved with that, as you sign up with WordPress and they do all the work.

Sometimes I offer specials to my Facebook followers, so all these are options for you to keep up with my site.
