I’ve added several levels of Thanksgiving music bundles to the store. The Thanksgiving Pre-reading Set includes 5 colorful songs and hymns that I arranged for students who have not learned to read notes on a music staff. It is hard to find music for Thanksgiving at this level, especially music about the real meaning of Thanksgiving. So I arranged some hymns and also wrote some songs myself that would appeal to young students. Most of these songs reinforce the idea that Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful for our blessings as we gather with family and friends.

The second bundle I added is the Thanksgiving Elementary Hymns Set. It includes 7 traditional Thanksgiving hymns for elementary piano students. One includes a teacher duet. They have been arranged for students who can read notes on the staff but are not yet playing hands together. Several positions are used to help students to learn to play in different five-finger positions. Some pieces include eighth notes and dotted rhythms but they can be taught by rote. Included are old favorites such as Come Ye Thankful People Come, Count Your Blessings, We Gather Together, Father We Thank Thee, Now Thank We All Our God, All Creatures of Our God and King, and America the Beautiful. These are also great for adult beginners or any student who would like to play traditional hymns.
